Phlebotomist II (9434) PHLEBOTOMIST BETHESDA, MD InGenesis is currently seeking a Phlebotomist II to work with our client located in Bethesda, MD.
In this role, you will draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Greet patients.
Draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
Explain procedures to patients.
Create atmosphere of trust and confidence.
Administer oral solutions.
Complete all data entry requirements accurately.
Enter billing information and collect payments, when required.
Verify patient demographic information.
Assist with monthly compilation and submission and monthly statistics and data.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
3
years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Preferred:
Phlebotomy certification.
Preferred:
Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Preferred:
2
years of experience in a patient service center environment.
Preferred:
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
Keyboard / data entry experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
