Responsibilities include: Provide leadership to the Company in the area of financial risk management analysis, implementation of risk mitigation strategies, and deal execution. Coordinate cross-over function between financial risk management and global cash management (specifically cash and FX transactions).
DETAILED DUTIES:
Monitor and evaluate FX and Interest Rate exposures.
Develop and implement cost-effective hedging strategies to mitigate exposure to significant FX and Interest Rate risk.
Execute and manage all spot and hedge related FX and interest rate trading. Marriott's FX hedging program represents $8B in annual trades protecting over $300M of FX exposure.
Structure hedges to achieve optimal accounting treatment in accordance with FAS 52 and 133, partnering with Treasury Accounting Services and Accounting Policy.
Responsible for monthly currency rates for accounting and forecasting purposes.
Responsible for monthly Interest Rate forecasts.
Develop and maintain a framework for assessing counterparty credit risk.
Review and negotiate International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreements with counterparty banks.
Negotiate and structure Letters of Credit on behalf of business units coordinating issuance with revolver banks. Manage portfolio of outstanding Letters of Credit, including preparing quarterly reports; and processing amendments, renewals, and cancelations.
Lead hedge committee meetings. Prepare Annual Risk Management Plan and hedge approval memorandum as needed.
Assist in global treasury system implementation.
Play leadership role in analyzing and managing international cash flow/cash needs and investments as they relate to foreign currency funding and long term international capital structure decisions.
Provide guidance throughout the organization on FX and capital markets issues.
Ensure Marriott complies with applicable derivative regulatory requirements.
Other tasks as deemed necessary.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
BS/BA in applicable field; MBA/MPA preferred
CTP/CCM preferred
Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial management experience
Minimum of five years exposure to international capital markets and FX markets preferred.
Minimum of five years international accounting or foreign currency accounting preferred.
Minimum of five years global treasury or international banking experience preferred.
Extensive experience with banking software and financial modeling tools preferred.
Extensive experience with derivatives valuation models preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
