TASKS/SERVICES
Perform statistical analyses of grant, contract, intramural and research management and support costs.
Develop excel based models to compare and evaluate spending/operational options under different budget scenarios and spending mixes.
Gather, validate and condition financial and operating into meaningful and accurate databases that can be easily updated and used by other analysts.
Develop meaningful and relevant findings from the analysis of financial and operational datasets.
Clearly explain findings in a way that can be easily and logically followed.
Present recommendations to senior management.

REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a science related field. Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
Two (2) years of experience in a related field.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
Expertise with Matlab.
Knowledge of mathematical and statistical theory and its application to many scientific fields.
Experience with SAS, SPSS and other statistical software packages.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
