Gov t contractor seeks exp certified Inpatient Medical Auditor with 5-7 yrs DOD coding/auditing exp . Qualified candidate must have demonstrated exp with all facets of inpatient coding to include IPS, APVs, and Inpatient Rounds; ER and outpatient coding exp a plus. Knowledge of ICD-10 and its impact is desired. Duties will include auditing of inpatient medical records, resolving coding discrepancies, setting auditing assignments of other coding/auditing staff, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, providing provider feedback and training as well as improving clinical documentation. Requires proficiency in creation of spreadsheets, reports and presentations; along with exc Microsoft Office skills; good analytical and management skills and exc communication (written and verbal) skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
