About The Position The Program Administative Assistant provides programmatic oversight of all activities within their portfolio of contracts.
Specifically, the Program Administative Assistant position monitors active projects to ensure compliance with scope of work, efficient study start up, programmatic and financial monitoring, and closeout.
The Program Administative Assistant will also provide proposal support with technical input and development of corporate experience/past performance.
About The Project The position will support the Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation Research for Operational Readiness (MIRROR) Program.
This program was established to support the execution of clinically relevant research to advance the care of service members with non-combat related musculoskeletal injury (MSI).
Headquartered at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), MIRROR provides coordination and support of inter-service and inter-disciplinary partnerships across military treatment facilities (MTFs), military training centers (MTCs), and civilian academic centers to execute cutting-edge research in order to mitigate the burden of MSI on military readiness.
Salary Range $57,000 - $78,000.
Salaries and hourly pay rates are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Responsibilities Provide project management support to project teams, as directed, to include resource planning, budgeting, and tracking budget to work progress Tracks and reports on the progress of projects and manages issues.
Reports on project status to established oversight committees Ensures completion and quality of project documentation Schedules review/approval steps and project updates with site management Coaches site project teams on project management tools and governance process Anticipates and manages project risks Develops project communication plan and manages project communication throughout the life of the project Assist with staffing, hiring, salary negotiations and performance review processes for staff Oversee programmatic/study related conduct ensuring staff perform tasks within scope of project Manage all staff to ensure optimal performance of each study Ensure staff demonstrate basic understanding of their job description Plan and facilitate individual and team meetings Assure all staff complies with Foundation and site policies, procedures and SOPS Proactively prepare and conduct site evaluation and study initiation visits Ensure sponsor and Geneva enrollment/milestones, study execution, and monitoring expectations are met on 100% of all studies Cognizant of and promotes networking opportunities with sponsors, subjects, and physicians Qualifications BA/BS degree preferred.
Relevant experience may replace education 2-3 years' experience in program coordination on federal contracts or grants 1-2 years' experience in staff management preferred Must be skilled with the use of Microsoft Office Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner Healthcare background and knowledge of military system preferred Ability to exercise independent judgement in fast-paced, high-pressured environment with strict deadlines and to manage multiple projects Job Type:
