Entry Level Event Marketing Assistant

The Entry Level Event Marketing Assistant is a valued team member in the marketing and advertising department.
This position begins at an entry level during training, which includes a comprehensive overview of basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising, and consumer market research.
After successfully completing the program, an individual would be considered a team lead in the marketing department.
The entry-level Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Executive Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily growth and development of assigned campaigns.
Support efforts of customer acquisition and retention.
Expertly manage the needs of external customers.
Develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Drive sales through retail promotional campaigns.
Build brand recognition through local events and experiential marketing.
Interact and communicate with customers.
Problem solve and make professional judgments.
Requirements:
Must be able to work full-time hours and some weekends for special events.
Ability to excel in unsupervised solo assignments as well as team projects.
Desire to travel at least 1 or 2 weeks a year for further training.
Great communication skills.
Must be able to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
2 or 4-year college degree in a related field.
Self-starter, creative thinker, problem solver.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
