Position OverviewTeaching Strategies is looking for a highly talented, detail-oriented person to manage a team of quality assurance engineers.
As a key member of our technology development team, you will make a real impact in early childhood education.
Our SaaS platform is a rapidly evolving system, so you will need to empower your team to move quickly while still being thorough.
You will be a champion for quality and always put the needs of the customer first.
You will radiate information about the quality state of the product and continuously find ways to make it better.
You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, operations engineers and other QA heroes to deliver meaningful updates every sprint.
We need someone who has a knack for breaking stuff, knows a lot about QA and leadership and is ready to learn more.
Specific Roles &
Responsibilities:
Supervises, coaches and mentors a team of QA Engineers Tracks and reports status and progress Creates and champions QA processes and standards Coordinates closely with Dev and Product Managers, QA Engineers and the VP of Engineering Helps to validate new features and fixes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on web and/or mobile testing experience Minimum of six (6) years developing test automation Minimum of two (2) years of managing a QA team Experience with performance, security and accessibility testing Empathy, patience, rigor, grit and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely Highly collaborative work style and a bias for action Creativity and initiative to succeed on ambiguous problems Experience with the following technologies a plus:
Jmeter / Blazemeter JavaScript Playwright Postman Data lakes and analytics Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Xray Jenkins Keen interest in new technologies and languages and how to innovate with them Commitment to following security best practices Why Teaching StrategiesAt Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
