Research Scientist

Description Leidos is seeking experienced Research Scientist for our client's operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Maryland area.
Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to processes that shape government policy.
Candidates will conduct in-depth research, perform rigorous time sensitive analysis, and distill this analysis into actionable insights.
Duties may include planning and executing research, maintaining substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, systematic collection, interpretation, and evaluation of data in a planned manner and contributing to scientific literature and conferences.
Requirements:
TS/SCI with Poly Experience with analysis Experience with working in the Intelligence Community Experience with conceptualization and assessing qualitative and quantitative information Experience with writing and briefing Experience with regional or functional topics Knowledge of intelligence priority topics and supporting intelligence information needs Typically requires a BA degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.
00 - $213,850.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
