12 an hour LCG is currently seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist who will provide support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Remediate walk-down vulnerability tickets in an effective and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Provide end-user troubleshooting and support for staff to include desktop, laptop, applications, and other operational tasks Ensure all tickets are documented with current status, customer communications and full description of the problem/resolution daily Remediate walk-down vulnerabilities on end user systems to remain in security compliance Provide one-on-one desk-side assistance to end-users on the standard core applications Provide end-user troubleshooting and support for client staff on network and desktop printers Configure workstation and laptops with standard desktop image and install applications; optimize for performance and operation Support, promote and develop desktop management, software deployment, systems administration, data integrity and recovery MINIMUM EDUCATION &
Experience:
1-2
years equivalent work experience or in lieu College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science Possess a strong work ethic and is a self-starter with strong customer service focus Preferred Certifications:
A+, Network
or MCP in current Microsoft workstation, server, and applications Ticketing system experience preferably ServiceNow Job Type:
