Director of Federal Civilian Business Sector

Aretum is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, talented, and detail-oriented Director of Federal Civilian Business Sector, to oversee and manage the operational aspects of contracts, programs, projects as well as business development, capture and revenue growth.
The successful candidate understands the missions of the Federal Civilian agencies, their cultures, organizational components, leadership, major programs, and their challenges.
Responsibilities will include ensuring Aretums teams meet or exceed quality performance standards through the highest quality of service and delivery.
The candidate will lead major business development and capture pursuits helping to expand Aretums capabilities within its Project Portfolio Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Financial Management, and Consulting services.
Job ResponsibilitiesManages and is responsible for overseeing Aretums Civilian contracts to ensure the projects achieve the highest possible performance standards in accordance with contractual requirements.
This is often measured through CPARS and customer satisfaction surveys.
Lead key opportunities as a capture manager.
Performs frequent client visits to assess performance, provide overall subject matter expertise associated with the contracts, and seek out ways to provide additional support to the client.
Responsible for overview, management and status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares management reports and dashboards.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Assists with employee development by providing mentorship and career guidance in accordance with Aretums Human Capital Plan.
Performs Employee Annual Goals and AppraisalsLeading and managing PgMs/Team Leads; Provide oversight to managed portfolio of contracts and teams.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for risk management, mitigations and problem solving with project managers, employees and clients.
Identifying, planning, executing, and supervising business development strategies and directing multiple simultaneous capture efforts.
Establish performance objectives and meet business projections; establish parameters to maximize sales and margins needed for business growth.
Meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives to drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
Working with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs.
Working with the human resources department to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters.
Proven track record of growing business from the ground up to include customer meetings, proposal writing, and organic growth.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related business or technical discipline.

years of related program management or industry experience with an emphasis on Federal Civilian agencies, especially Department of Interior, Department of Treasury, Department of Energy, and/or General Services Administration.
Experience managing client delivery teams.
Expert communication and writing skills to ensure deliverables are reviewed and submitted within contractual performance standards.
3 to 5
years in business development and capture.
Demonstrated success leading, managing, and overseeing a portfolio of programs.
Demonstrated success identifying, qualifying, and winning small and large captures.
Deep understanding of Federal contracting practices.
Experience in preparing & delivering presentations to senior leaders in government, customers or peers.
Demonstrated experience of managing multiple contracts and teams.
Must have federal agencies experience with business development and capture.
The candidate must have a reputation for being able to build and work within high performance teams in a matrix-management environment.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
