Communications Specialist with Security Clearance

Navstar is seeking a Communications Specialist to support a high-profile client based in the Bethesda, MD.
This role will be 100% onsite.
Position Overview:
o Provide a range of internal and external communications support from strategic communications planning to execution, including planning for workforce brown bags, press engagements, town halls, prep sessions with leadership, and other events, develop marketing campaigns for those events.
o Lead client communications initiatives, including large-scale outreach campaigns to engage the workforce and drive acceptance of client policies.
o Draft and edit a variety of communications materials and products, including talking points, leadership communications, marketing copy, social media posts, newsletter content, and web site content.
o Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative and creative environment.
Required Skills:
o TS/SCI with CI Polygrapho 5
years of experience working in the Intelligence Communityo 5
years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relationso Ability to work with senior leaders, respond to changing priorities, and adapt writing style to meet the needs of audiences at various levelso Bachelor's Degree Desired Skills:
o Experience with consulting, including government consultingo Experience with running large-scale marketing or change communications campaignso Experience writing social media content on behalf of cliento Experience with event planning, including booking event locations, coordinating invites, drafting promotional content for social media, and running IT and sound checks at event venueo Knowledge of script writing for promotional videoso Knowledge of content management systems, including Joomla and WordPresso Knowledge of client communications channels and vehicles o Ability to be professional and show enthusiasm for client and teammate collaborationo Ability to prioritize multiple taskings simultaneously for short-term and long-term projectso Master's degree Navstar Inc.
