SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) of NAVMEDRSCHCEN SILVER SPRING MD.
Responsibilities You will manage the command Personnel Security Program to include submitting background investigations via e-QIP You will be knowledgeable and experience of the following security platforms:
e-OIP, DISS, SWFT, CVS, NP2 You will initiate - Visit Requests, knowledge of submitting Incident Reports and answering Statement of Reasons (SOR) You will managing the Passport/Visa Program You will experience and in-depth knowledge of initiating background investigations via e-QIP for Tiers 1, 3, 5s and experience with adjudication of SF-85/SF-86 You will exhibit knowledge of the following security platforms:
e-OIP, DISS, SWFT, CVS, NP2 Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Examples of Qualifying
Experience:
Experience performing security debriefings regarding access to collaterally classified information.
Experience ensuring accurate and timely completion of final clearance actions and related entries of final security actions through daily monitoring of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) or similar systems.
Experience applying comprehensive security regulations and criteria to specific situations and circumstances encountered in the performance of making access determinations.
Experience utilizing standardized rules, procedures, terminology, or requirements to perform processing of security clearance actions.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
