RN Observation Unit PT Days
Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.
Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years and is a designated trauma.
The Registered Nurse / RN will work within our Observation/Clinical Decision Unit, a 20 bed observation unit that works closely with the Emergency Department's 32 bed unit.
The CDU provides an alternative to discharge or hospital inpatient admission for the emergency department patient who may benefit from an extended observation period (generally less than 24 hours).
Patients of all age ranges who are not ill enough to warrant immediate inpatient hospital admission but are also not well enough to return to their place of residence may need additional monitoring, diagnostic evaluation, and/or treatment in an observation unit/CDU prior to disposition.
Hours:
Part Time, 24hrs per week Days, 7a - 7:

Current Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in BSN program Minimum of 1yr experience Recommended Skills Cpr Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
