Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYMarriott International, Inc.
is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its Global Workplace Services End User Computing team.
This position will be responsible for the planning, design, and build of our new game changing Enterprise Browser team.
This role will contribute to resolving complex issues and providing input for decisions on more complex, non-routine service requests with limited to moderate risk.
This individual will collaborate on multiple projects to ensure for successful completion.
CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:
Undergraduate Degree and/or equivalent experience/certification 5
years experience in information technology including:
3
years' experience designing and developing solutions leveraging Chromium based browsers.
3
years' experience designing and developing solutions leveraging Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams.
Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Demonstrated experience with Powershell and other programming languages.

Demonstrated experience with Design Thinking.
Demonstrated experience with SAFE Agile.
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Detection/Response, Secured Web Gateway, and other endpoint security capabilities.
Demonstrated experience with creating policy templates for HR, Legal, and Privacy regulations.
Technical operations, administration, or engineering background CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Provides support, oversight, governance and tactical direction that are required to enable the delivery of IT services.
Provide input to the overall architecture, operational governance model.
Researching, designing, and implementing components that are standards based, high performing, highly available, and secure in delivering the required business functionality.
Educates internal and external users on the technologies to continually improve the knowledge and skill-base of the organization on how to operate and support the technology services.
Evaluate and select service products.
Supports analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement.
Utilizes capability modeling to align systems strategy and planning with business strategy and goals.
Consults with project teams to identify when it is necessary to modify services to accommodate project needs.
Implements and promotes standard configuration and change management, processes and practices.
Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects.
Delivering Technology Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
Supports existing systems and projects in a minimum of one environment.
Reviews completeness of requirements prior to solutioning Plans and coordinates implementation, reviews quality control of systems functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
Provides input to support desk change management efforts as it relates to support and training of new system.
Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams Ensures early warning to the leadership regarding degraded or missed service levels.
IT Governance Follows all defined IR standards and processes (i.
e.
IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.
), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk.

00 to $174,271.

The salary range for this position is $81,525.
00 to $158,430.
00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only:
The salary range for this position is $98,644.
00 to $174,271.
00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only:
The salary range for this position is $81,525.
00 to $174,271.
00 annually.
In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Employees will accrue 0.
04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
