com Our Operations Associate position provides flexibility whether you are looking for a part time or full time position.
This role also has a quick potential for promotions and raises (Senior Operations Associate, to Lead Associate, then Operations Assistant Manager) depending on performance.
During training, this position will master the floor operations ranging from customer service, maintaining cleanliness, restocking, and organizing.
Next set of responsibilities include daily prep that consists of baking, chopping, and measuring.
We're looking for quick learners with the highest set of integrity and diligence who will need minimal supervision after training.
Our Operations associates must be comfortable and skilled at multitasking, with great efficiency, and prioritizing.
Our shops are very busy, and this position requires 100% hustle and focus each day.
Although we are a small business, we provide many benefits for our full time (>35 hoursr per week) staff after training.
The current benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Paid Time Off, flexible scheduling, and career development.
With annual performance review/meeting, you are also eligible for discretionary bonuses.

- Has the highest level of integrity and work ethic - Passionate about our brand and ice cream - Exhibit passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Be reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift - Experience in culinary, customer service, kitchen, and retail management are preferred, but not required.

With two locations in Bethesda, Sarah's Handmade offers great opportunity to grow exponentially with the business for the right candidate.
Sarah's Handmade was created by a Bethesda mother-daughter team, Sarah and Annie.
When Sarah retired in 2018, she suddenly found herself time to indulge in her old hobbies.
She began to experiment and create original ice cream recipes for her family, friends, and neighbors, fit for each occasion.
Soon enough, she was receiving calls and orders from strangers for her handmade ice cream! With strong enthusiasm from friends and wide support from neighbors, Sarah and Annie decided to bring the homemade flavors to a River Road storefront in Bethesda.
To stay true to Sarah's commitment to the highest quality ice cream that she would feel proud feeding my family, Sarah uses only the best, local-whenever-possible ingredients and sticks to her small-batch, all-natural recipes.
