Core Responsibilities Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions and deliver new products to market Mine and analyze property user data to drive optimization and improvement of product features, marketing techniques, and business strategies Utilize AWS services to build production-ready models for real time inference Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of their performance Enhancing data engineering procedures to supply up to-date information at scale Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis Required Skills and Experience BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent experience 2
years' experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.
) to query manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
1-3 years' experience of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantagesdrawbacks.
Comfortable utilizing cloud services (specifically AWS) Desired Skills and Experience Strong usage of object-oriented programming, especially in python (C is a plus) Experience with AWS SageMaker and building models data pipelines from very large datasets with regular updates.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.
) and experience with applications.
Experience with NLP modeling (Word2Vec, Doc2Vec, BoW) Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques GLMRegression, Random Forest, XGBoost, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
