Education:
The Project Manager/Senior Operations Engineer shall have, at a minimum, a graduate degree (master's degree or above) from an accredited college/university, in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communications management, computer science, information technology, or communications systems. Certification:
In lieu of the graduate degree, the Project Manager/Senior Operations Engineer may have one of the following certifications:
CNSSI 4012-4016 Certificate; NDU CIO Certificate; CISSP Certificate; CISM Certificate; GSLC; CASP Certificate; CCISO Certificate; or PgMP Certificate. Work
Experience:
The Project Manager/Senior Operations Engineer shall have at least seven years of combined experience in computer and networking project management to support Local Area Networks and systems which include network switches and routers, Ethernet (10BaseT and Gigabit), Fiber Optics, wireless networking, firewalls, client/host configurations, and Windows/Linux servers trouble shooting, testing and repair. Years of experience beyond the minimum may be considered a strength. Work experience shall also include/demonstrate:
- Planning and directing tasks; - Determining resource requirement and costs; - Preparing schedules; - Assigning work to subordinates; - Monitoring progress of tasks and preparing progress reports; - Reviewing products before they are delivered; - Communicating with all levels of management orally and in writing; - Management of network designs, installations, implementation of standards, and conversion and migration methodologies to enhance network technologies; - Resolving complex problems that impact system availability; and - Monitoring network performance and recommending improvements. This position is part of the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF), at the Master Proficiency Level, and is in Category 70, Specialty Area 74 of the DON Cybersecurity Workforce Qualification Matrix of the SECNAV M-5239.2, Cyberspace Information Technology and Cybersecurity Workforce Management and Qualifications Manual (Jun 2016).
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
