is currently hiring a
Director IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Responsibilities include: Lead the development and enablement of the IT Continuity Management and Oversight Plan in collaboration with 3rd party service providers in alignment with the Business requirements. Captures the Business Application Recovery requirements and defines the IT Continuity roadmap. Enables IT Continuity Management and oversight tools and processes to facilitate the successful outcomes of planned IT Continuity testing and successful achievement of MIP30 compliance requirements. Develop the metrics and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards that clearly articulate the business application recovery testing performance, areas of risk and compliance status of all subscribed IT Continuity Services. Provide consultative input to the ITILv3 ITSM Process Managers and Tools Owner contributing and driving our continuous improvement and roadmaps initiatives in this area of Service Integration. Provide outputs to support the Service Management and Governance Organization for Supplier compliance oversight.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
Minimum 9
years' experience in information technology process and/or project management across diverse areas and technologies.
Minimum 5 years in a technical discipline role with experience in planning, implementing and evaluating processes, systems and/or initiatives
Broad technical acumen across multiple technical disciplines (Server, Middleware, Networks etc.) with a solid knowledge of current technologies
Strong Business acumen across multiple business disciplines (Risk Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, etc.) and experience working with discipline leads
Minimum 4 years' experience leading as an IT Service Management Process Manager aligned with the ITILv3 framework
Undergraduate degree/equivalent experience/or certification.
Preferred:
Graduate/post-graduate degree.
Experience applying measurement processes/methods for assessing IR DR effectiveness outputs and outcomes or progress toward goals and objectives.
ITILv3 Certified
Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses
Ability to work across organizational boundaries, to help lead and influence change
Ability to command the process across all levels to create a customer-focused organization.
Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies.
Demonstrated leadership experience in influence and garnering alignment from external organizations
Ability to align change management strategies with project.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
