TASKS/SERVICES
Use computing/informatics expertise to generate software and database tools to assist in program planning, solicitation, evaluation, and day-to-day administration of the programs.
Design and develop applications from presentation to data layer
Collaborate with Principle Investigators, DAIT Staff, and professional colleagues to understand requirements and develop flexible solutions that promote scalability and reusability
Applies design concepts - two, three, and four-tiered architecture, presentation and service layer interfaces, and behavior-driven/ domain driven methodologies
Works in an Agile environment and takes an iterative approach to development
Meet regularly with the Branch Chief, Division Director, Development Lead and other DAIT officials to discuss data specific issues and review any matters of concern to the branch.
REQUIRED
Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in IT, bioinformatics or web development
Experience in building database and database-based web application.
Experience with MySQL, Oracle, Eclipse
Experience with at least one JavaScript framework.
Preferably EXT-JS or Sencha EXT-JS
Experience in programming in scripting or object oriented languages.
Primarily Java (80%)
Some experience in .Net preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
