The Marriott International HQ, located at 10400 Fernwood Road, Bethesda, MD, 20817 is currently hiring a Manager, Marriott.com -SEO.
Responsibilities include: This position is responsible for the identification, development & management of products and programs that support Marriott eCommerce Marketing strategy, specifically Search Engine Optimization (SEO) programs. The incumbent will ensure Marriott is competitive within the industry, optimize Marriott's online performance in search engines, and directly drive or influence gross booking revenue and non-room revenue to all Marriott hotels.
This position reports to Sr. Manager, SEO.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3-5 years' experience in the business, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
Experience
3-5 years Internet marketing experience
Hands-on skills and experience in eCommerce marketing, specifically SEO strategy and tactics.
Online agency experience is a plus
Ability to analyze data across multiple reporting sources and create savvy reports detailing trends, projections, etc.
Proven ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams in support of specific business priorities
Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
Effective written and oral communications skills
Ability to manage multiple agencies/vendors
Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and satisfy Internet speed-to-market requirements
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Team player who works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability
Spanish, German, French, and Chinese, Japanese, and/or Portuguese language proficiency a plus.

Strategy & Business Objectives
Responsible for several initiatives in support of Marriott's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) programs which optimize Marriott.com and mobile sites for high organic search placement within major in-market search engines
Develop content strategies that align with business goals
Utilize demand and site metrics to determine appropriate keyword targets
Develop and present business cases and strategic recommendations for participation to appropriate stakeholders
Develop onsite strategies that target influential site and page-level elements
Define key elements and provide strategy that promote best practices
Develop and provide technical optimization strategies

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
