Sr. Director, eCommerce Channels EMEA & APAC.
Responsibilities include: This position is responsible for leading and establishing direction for Marriott International's regional global efforts with third party B2C online intermediaries, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), technology enablers and metasearch, referred to as eCommerce Channels or eChannels. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategy, revenue generating activities/account management, operations, and business development for Global eCommerce Channel accounts (e.g. Expedia, Booking.com, Ctrip, HRS, etc.) in Europe, MEA and APAC, with focus on new business development from regional eChannels (unaffiliated with the Global eChannels) and Metasearch entities in alignment with Marriott's Global Distribution Strategy. This position's team efforts will be also focused on leading and executing Continent specific channel strategies in the EU, MEA and APAC region to support Marriott's global distribution strategy. The digital B2C third-party distribution space is highly complex and evolving, especially in the international arena. It has significant strategic implications for MI, including overall contribution to revenue, and levels of overall intermediation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED
REQUIRED:
Passion for sales excellence and business development
Strong Strategic Account Management Leadership skills and experience
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to understand the bigger picture, interrelationships and complexities of third party distribution and translate the business implications into action
Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create a positive team dynamic and manage and motivate a diverse global multi-cultural team
Ability to work well within all levels of the organization, especially internal and external senior management
Minimum of 10 years related work experience in the hotel and/or travel industry.
PREFERRED:
Location either in Bethesda, MD, Europe or China
International work experience, and multiple language skills a plus
Digital distribution and/or third party background
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree, e.g. MBA or related degree preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
