Randstad is recruiting for a polished and energetic medical assistant for a pharmaceutical company in the Bethesda area. The client is looking for a medical assistant with a strong sense of customer service and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. The position is a temporary to permanent position, with an hourly rate of $16-18/hr, and permanently $35 to 40k annually. Be sure to apply today!
Duties:
-Set up patients' rooms and make sure room is set up for doctor's visit
-Use medical software to solve clinic issues and make sure that clinic runs smoothly and effectively
-Communciate goals of the clinic to the general public and external vendors
-Ability to post insurance payments in a concise and efficient manner
-Answer phones in a pleasant manner and assist clients as needed
Working hours: 9am to 5pm
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree Required
-Must be able to pass a background test
-Experience with medical terminology and experience in medical software systems
-Experienced in insurance verification and medical coding including CPT codes, CD9 codes
-1-2 years of customer service experience
