BroadPoint's Financial Analysts play a unique and integral role in driving business decisions, supporting operations and influencing business results. As a Financial Analyst you are considered to be a trusted business advisor, working within the company's business units and geographies, as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions.
This position will be actively involved in invoicing, analysis, support and forecasting of operating revenue and expenses. In addition, strong relationship and communication skills are required to liaise with external customers, internal customers (Project Managers, Senior Executives) and Accounting Team members. Involvement in various special and ad hoc assignments will be required.

Responsibilities
Process daily/semi-monthly employee timesheets, expense reports, and review for accuracy.
Review contracts, purchase orders and modifications to understand billing requirements.
Set up new projects (T&M & FFP), work closely with project managers to review cost estimates and contractor costs, review project reports for cost accuracy and reasonableness
Monitor all subcontractor agreements and initiated subcontractor payment release request
Monthly subcontractors billing and reconciliation
Create and review complex bi-weekly / monthly invoicing for Commercial and Federal clients that are compliant with contract terms and client specific needs
Act as a liaison with customers; act as the point of contact for billing issues, ensuring resolution of issues and discrepancies. Developed and maintain and strong and effective long-term relationships with key customers
Assist Controller and Director of Finance with month-end and year end close
Assist Controller and Director of Finance with audit readiness
Create and maintain policies and procedures
Assist in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing as requested
Support Project financial forecasting and accounting

Qualifications
Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
Microsoft Dynamics SL experience a plus
Crystal Reports experience preferred
Microsoft Office experience, specifically MS Excel
Highly organized individual who can manage a large volume of transactions
Collaborates well with others both internal and external to the Accounting Department
Experience with Federal Customers and rules/regulations
Experience with Federal Contracts is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
